We help people in a broad range of situations to determine the value of an object, collection or estate and provide solid information to assist with important decisions.
You can expect the best from us.
The first step of performing an appraisal is documentation of the objects that will be appraised. With health and travel considerations we have developed guidelines for clients to send documentation of artwork and objects for an appraisal. Hearing the stories of an object and learning more from the client about the context and history is always a helpful and interesting part of the process. We then research any identifying marks, materials and stylistic features to ensure an accurate identification.
|
Once we have a clear identification, we research and perform a market analysis to determine a valuation. We take factors such as location, condition and recent market transactions into account. All relevant information is compiled into a clear, informative report and delivered to the client.
